Communications From Abroad - April 2009

Namaste Niki Ji,

Dil and I went for the shopping the day before yesterday and we had to face a lot of trouble on that day on the jeep and in the shop where we bought the stuff. These days there is still the strike in the Terrai and the transportation is still been blocked and the daily things are not been able to transport to the country. That is why we are very shocked when we hear the increasing rate of the things. EVERYTHING HAS BEEN INCREASED.

Here I have not distributed the stuff to the families because Shiva has not returned back to Bandipur from his father's funeral so I have to wait for him.

So here the children have finished their exams and are celebrating their holiday. I have asked Asmita about her exam and she happily told me that she has passed her exam in second division. As I have heard that Binay also has passed the exam very good indeed.

About the two girls, they are regular to their training and Samundra is coming in the evenings and Sushila is coming every morning because she is working with her father and mother to help her family in this their holidays. I am very happy that she is a very good girl and understanding girl.

Now I want to write because you are not coming to Bandipur this year and it is sad that we must decrease the monthly stipend because of the economy. The days are getting harder day by day here so please I want to request that we try to get more support from the USA people.

I hope that the economy get's better so that our organization be official of DHF can come sooner as we do not yet have the official office here. There is no place available for the renting so we must build the office.

Wow! Wow! Wow! Now I have to leave the computer because the power will go in few minutes.

Namste Niki Ji,

Hello you there? Yesterday on Tuesday we have distributed the monthly stuffs to the families. We also make them clear about the monthly stipend and all the expenses we do for the families showing them some files and bills. Because they are thinking that we Dil and I are using the money.

Because on Monday when I went to talk to Samundra, Shitali and that people are the member of the organization who gave debts to Shitali, those people to me that it has already been 3 years that Shitali has took the debts and it has also the interest. Shitali and Samundra started to discuss to each other. Shitali in rude voice told me that I don't need your money but what ever money comes for Samundra give it to her and you just take care of her. And I feel very bad about it and told her that there is not money individually to each children. I also told them we don't have the house and the place to keep the children so we can't keep her. (this was in response to Nichole's inquiry about Shitali's money situation and Samundra having to quit school to instead work to help her mother pay the debt off).

This has made Dil and I very upset.

Namaste Niki Ji,

Well I am sorry to write you late but I was having church leadership training and youth camp in Pokhara for all this week. Here children's school result has also been published to their school and Asmita, Sanjeep, Niraj, Santosh, and Biki all of them have passed their exam in good number.

We some of my friends from KTM, Dulaikoauda and Dumre are planning for the prayer trip to JOMSUM and MUKTINATH of THREE DAYS and we are going on bike. There will be around ten bikes. So for that I need Rs. 3,000 for each days. So please pray for me because I want to go for this trip but I don't have the money to pay for the bikefuel and all for my fooding and lodging.

Namaste Niki Ji,

Thank you for your recommendation letter for the fund raiser for my trip to JOMSOM an MUKTINATH. Today I have got your email and I am so glad to see your email and that was for my fund raiser to trip. But it was late for to communicate to others any way thank you for your kindness.

I have just arrived last Friday evening to Dumre from my JOMSOM trip. WOW! It was very much exciting and unforgettable journey of my life. We were 10 of us all of us boys with 5 bikes. The first day we ride the whole 11 hours from Pokhara to JOMSOM. All the way we had the video taking. We reached to JOMSOM at 9:30pm on that first day. But there was too cold. We had lots of fun with all friends. The next day early morning we wake up and there was beautiful sunrise on the mountain full of white snow and the golden rays of the sun has made the white snow golden shine mountain. When I saw it first I shouted and went in the room and wake up all the friends and I grabbed the camera and came out the hotel and take video and after friends came and saw the golden snow mountain. They all shouted and we were all happy. Then in the middle of JOMSOM bazaar we gather in catching hand in round and we worship in loud and we pray.

After the breakfast we again start up the bike and went off to our destination to MUKTINATH.

When we left JOMSOM then we saw the naked mountains snow in the peak.but the road was very bad and very dangerous. Our butt was all swollen and giving lots of pain. And in same day we came back to Tatopani and we stayed that night in hotel and took 2hrs shower in hot water spring. That was so wonderful and we all enjoyed the hot spring.

The last day early morning we ride back to Pokhara from Baglung. That was all my trip to JOMSOM and MUKTINATH.

Now how are you and how is your health and the baby? How is your all family? What about America now? Here last week I paid tailor master monthly dues.
