Founder's Travel Journal: Bandipur Day 2
Today was yet another jam-packed day. I was told that the government schools are back in session tomorrow so my schedule has been changed slightly. After tomorrow's evaluation I am proposing a new schedule to Ramsaram. I will have to make copies for each school I assist so they know my hours. I am once again pushing myself too hard and the expectations I have set for everyone are high enough already. But, I must be consistent with keeping time schedules. I will need to be adamant about making all students leave class on time so the others can have time to gather their study materials. It will help to keep my sanity as well.
While talking with the dinner guests at the Old Inn, all tourists, I received much advice about keeping up with my health, making sure I don't get taken advantage of too. I thought more about this and I came to one of many conclusions still muddling through my mind: too many people are too giving and charitable for a short period of time, receiving a short-term reward afterwards, and then all is forgotten. It is the ethic and virtue that one displays in their actions on a regular basis that are the most effective, most accepted, and most rewarding for the giver and the receiver.
I think I will publish a book leaving no author's name with the previous statement as the full text and title the book "How To Live a Fulfilling Life".
